Room for Rent in Resort-Like Home: 1BR/Shared Bath

Friendly. fun, easy-going couple looking to share our little paradise, mini-resort-like home with a roommate – 1 bdrm /shared bathroom - Available 5/1 --- (NO PETS)
$1300/MO (Utilities included) – Month to month rental with 30-day move-out/termination notice required from both parties per the rental agreement terms.

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE:
One private, furnished bedroom (upstairs) with memory foam queen bed, TV, closet and semi-private bath - shared only with the wife, (as she doesn’t like the shower in our master), and the occasional house guest. You need to be ok with the fully-furnished bedroom, as we don’t want to clear out all the furniture and have to rent a storage unit – but you can change out the bedding for your own if ya like.

Full access and use of the common areas of the house and grounds – kitchen, dining room, family room (with pool table), comfy lounge w/bar, loft/workout area (with NordicTrack Vault mirrored fitness equipment), laundry room, and backyard with conversation firepit, sundeck, pool w/waterfalls & fire-strips, hot tub, table tennis and corn hole game.

WHO YOU ARE:
Trustworthy, respectful, responsible, friendly, considerate, and reasonably tidy (don’t have to be a clean-freak or anything), but picking up after yourself (dishes, garbage, clutter, etc.) and cleaning up here and there would be greatly appreciated so we can all have a well-maintained home and a good, solid, mutually respectful living situation.
NON-SMOKER/DRUG-FREE (alcohol is fine).

WHO WE ARE:
As mentioned, we are a friendly, fun, easy-going couple that is trustworthy as well --- and will be considerate of you and respectful of your privacy, but we’ll also welcome you to join in on the fun with our friends & family when they visit (as we’re “the more the merrier!” type)… or play board/card games, ping-pong, cornhole, and even join us for the occasional local winery visit if ya like (which is only 10 to 15 min away). Basically, we can be friendly and sociable, get to know each other and hang once in a while – or you can be a total loner if you wish and keep to yourself – we’re good either way! 😊

If interested, respond to the ad via email, and I’ll put you in touch with my wife (as she’s fielding all calls for this) and she will set a time to show you the place and chat a bit to get acquainted, since we’re all potentially going to be sharing space.

WHAT WE’LL NEED FROM YOU FOR THE RENTAL PROCESS:
Completed application with non-refundable $50 application fee (to cover background/credit check)

And if you’re chosen to be our roommate:
First month’s rent - $1,300 + $1,300 last month's rent by move-in day ($2,600)
And a signed rental agreement.
