A place to call home and have privacy-respect- and laughter too, if you like - all are welcome -Must be ok with dogs, I have one and she loves everyone.
Your home-
Gated community within great neighborhood, in beautiful Palm Desert!
Our home is right on the border of Indian Wells, in safe, and clean neighborhood. Close to College of the Desert, Shopping, Dining, Golf, Entertainment, such as, McCallum Theatre of Arts, COD, El Paseo, SBU.
We are 25 minutes from Palm Springs, in the heart of Coachella Valley.
In your new community, you will have access to Tennis, Pickleball, pool and spa, and putting green area.
There is access to garage parking for one other person, if you have a small car. If not, there is certainly room for a bike, or there is a city bus transit, with pickup stop right out side of our gates, if you like the bus, or if you have a big truck, or SUV then there is assigned parking Spaces, $35 a month.
Currently I rent out your choice of 2 rooms in the home, and a guest bathroom right outside your doorway, (if there’s going to be one other person, then 2 of you would be sharing the guest bathroom), it has a bath and shower.
Hopefully you are friendly, and love animals. I have one big dog who loves everyone, but she’s 70 lbs and think she’s a lap dog. She’s well trained, though spoiled, as all hell, and makes for a great watch dog. If you don’t like dogs on your lap, she’ll get down and wont jump up.
Room comes with 50 inch TV with Roku. You will have super fast internet, a comfortable new Full Size or Queen bed, and fresh towels and blankets, if needed. I try to accommodate everything you need, as if you’re renting a Airbnb😁, except stuff like your own toiletries and laundry detergent, you’re in charge of that.
New Washer and Dryer in garage for you to use.
There’s cooking supplies and new gas range stovetop and microwave for you to use, and there’s a small patio with bbq. It’s semi private, but can be noisy if there’s cars with loud engines. You can smoke/vape but outside only.
Please, No drugs or heavy drinking, this isn’t a good place for parties and shenanigans.
My dog-
My dog is my kid, so she is indoors at all times, she sleeps with me, but she’s allowed on the couch, has free run of house. Except your space of course. Your room has your own lock and key, I just ask that when you leave, the bedroom door is kept shut, so my dog doesn’t push her nose in there rummaging through your stuff! She’s pretty good though and knows not to go in there, but still, she’s not perfect- yet. She’s 9 years old and loves to sleep, eat, and play.
Regarding employment….
I ask that you are either a College student, and traveling nurses are welcome, or a working professional, outside of our home. There’s a small desk in each room, but not well equipped to work from home.
My home does not have wide enough doors for wheelchairs. I tried, but regular sized wheelchairs are too wide for doors, and it’s not accessible unfortunately. The electric ones are ok.
First and Security Deposit-
First and a security deposit will be due the day you move in, and on the 1st of each month, there after. Please be someone who is responsible…and pays their rent on time.
Your roommate (Me)
I keep to myself mostly, I don’t have a lot of guest that come over, I don’t date random guys, and you don’t have to worry about random people coming and going, or people staying the night, I keep to myself a lot, I devote most of my time to my dog🤷🏼‍♀️
This is a great home for you if you want a quiet place to study, or to a be in a peaceful, and zen home. You will be welcomed, I’m respectful of ones privacy, and personal space. I’m an upfront person and I treat others with respect and kindness, unless they are 🫏😁. I will always do my best to make sure that you have what you need. I’m honest about things that matter to others. Also, I don’t push religion or politics on others, and hopefully you don’t either.😉

I know it can be hard finding a great roommate and landlord, I use yo rent and had my share of people who were never kind or looking for ulterior motives. Be safe out there!
