Access to use some common areas: kitchen, dining room, laundry, bathroom, backyard, living room. No or limited garage access. Utilities included, including WiFi. Limited overnight guests and get togethers.
Easy going, active professional roommates. One trained older cat. No other pets allowed. Month to month only. This is a sublease with permission from landlord. We have lived here for 4+ years and have a great relationship with him.
Must show proof of employment and references. In person interview with both roommates is required.
About room: Unfurnished room. AC and ceiling fan in room (only AC in home). Large closet with a top shelf. Two windows, looks out to street from side of the house. Wooden floors.
About house: 1957 built home, about 1,421 sq. ft. 3 bedroom / 2 bath home. Wooden floors and tiled home. Beautiful, relaxing, and drought resistant yards. Twice a month gardener included. Roommates share common area chores. It gets hot in the summer but open doors and fans do the trick. Winters it gets cold, but the house does have central heating.
About roommates: Female, 48 - Works in the arts full time Male, 47 - Works in education full time Both are nerdy, laidback, no drama. (1) 12 year old tuxedo indoor cat. Stays majority of time in our rooms napping.
About neighborhood: Quiet safe community, blocks from 5 & 55 freeway, close to several grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and parks. We never have issues with parking. It's a great neighborhood to walk, run, bike in.
