Hi My name is Meredith. I currently occupy a 1 bedroom at The Havens.

Like all California renters I'm trying to cut some cost and have decided to take the leap and rent out my living room. Sounds crazy but sometimes you gotta do, what you gotta do.

This is a great situation for someone who just needs a place to sleep, shower, and cook a meal or two.

Terms: Month to month is possible, but would prefer at least a 3 month commitment. A contract will be available for signature for both parties.

Room: Your room would essentially be the large living room area. Perfect for someone who doesn't have a lot of stuff. Your bed can be the amazingly comfortable pull out IKEA couch OR you're welcome to bring your own bed.
I can provide a storage wardrobe or 2 for you. And of course a privacy screen to ensure you have privacy/sound reduction. I would like you to be as comfortable as possible.

Share: Bathroom, Sink, Kitchen.
We would share a bathroom and sink area.

Kitchen: You're welcome to cook whatever you want at reasonable hours. If I cook you're welcome to share in anything I make, because sharing is caring.

Utilities: included. (long hot showers not an option though because we get charged for hot water here, I know it's crazy) You would have access to a hot tub though!

Parking: 1 reserve spot and street parking.
Smoking: NO
4:20: friendly but no smoking inside (there's a balcony on the front)
Washer/Dryer: We have washer dryer rooms close to the unit (yes you have to pay for those to use)
Pool: 2 pools
Hot tub at each pool.

Overnight Guest: TBD.

**Also, I've only had dude roommates and it's worked out really well.

Me: Typically I work as a teacher and currently on a job search. I'm pretty quiet although I do love to talk too when with the right people. I'm not a clean freak but I would say I do my best tidy and organized when sharing space. But I'm not going to flip out if you leave a dish in the sink or a towel on the floor.
Typically my schedule is typically at school for 8-9 hours, home, gym, then home to sleep.

Phone Interview then we graduate to an Interview In person.
Must be comfortable with you.
Must love my cats and my cats must like you.

My place will NOT be for you IF:
you hate cats
you hate children (we have lots of kids in our complex)
you're a light sleeper.
you hate cat hair.
you hate candles.
