One bedroom opening in a three-bedroom first floor apartment in Cypress, CA for move-in date August 1 on a 12 mo lease.
Rent is $930/mo.

Utilities not included but are split three ways and we are conservative about electricity (we don't use the AC and there are windows in every room). This is an arrangement for adults trying to save money and survive in sunny California.
There is a $52 fee to apply at this complex, but two of us are already approved and you are a shoe-in if selected. I am already doing everything to ensure that we only move forward with a qualified person and I know what our leasing office prioritizes.
$500 security deposit will be returned to you at the end of the lease, or your move-out date, if you decide to stay with us longer (minus damages). The security deposit will not be returned if you break lease.
We would like to have someone selected to apply by the end of June to be on the safe side
with your June paystubs so please, don't wait.

Water/trash is in the $30s/mo.
Electric is going to vary by usage but we keep it low and ask that you either do so as well or else pay extra if you prefer to be more relaxed with your habits - that is also acceptable.
Internet/cameras (we have security cameras at both entrances)/Insurance (we have rental insurance if anything happens to your stuff - you will be added to our policy) combined is $32/mo.

This is for a year lease meaning that the price will not be raised for a full year after this.
I have lived here about five years so it is stable and reliable.
The other roommate is a male and he has lived here two years.
The individual moving out had also lived here two years and is only leaving because she got into a law school in Arizona.
This is a calm, drama free house.
There are two indoor cats. They are friends and both litter box trained, neutered/spayed (mine is microchipped).
There are two pools at this complex that are still open after sundown (see videos) and at least three laundry rooms
with brand new washers and driers.
Comes with your own reserved and covered parking spot.
In addition to having a closet in your bedroom with a built-in mirror, you will receive closet space in the hallway.
Cabinet space in the kitchen is plentiful.
Hallway bathroom is only shared with one person and has a full dual shower/tub with an upgraded shower head.
Overnight guests are fine.

Apartment complex runs all the normal checks regarding credit, background; you will be on the lease. I need to know your monthly income before we proceed. Income must be verifiable as we will be submitting your paystubs with the application.
This room comes with its own mini-fridge (you can also use the fridge in the kitchen but it's good to have your own fridge, too, so we have provided an extra). The room can otherwise be unfurnished but if you would like to keep the bed or the desk, just let me know and it will be included (free of charge).
