About the house
3 bedroom townhouse located in the Eastside Costa Mesa neighborhood close to 17th street and Newport Blvd. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and coffee shops. Approximately 1 mile from Lido Island and Backbay. The house has a driveway, large backyard, and garage. Very safe neighborhood and family friendly. Additionally there is plenty of street parking. Laundry is available on-sight (laundry area is only shared by two other households). There is no A/C, but typically don’t need it living this close to the beach. I have a small portable A/C unit that I use when necessary.

Rent includes your own room, bathroom, designated parking spot, shared guest room/spare room, full access to house/kitchen and garage. Spare room is currently set up as a guest room, but can be used however the roommates see fit. Each room is 9ft by 12ft.

Rent is $1450 and security deposit is $1,250

Rent doesn’t include utilities. Utilities are usually $75/ each a month that includes electricity and internet. Landlord pays for gardeners, gas, trash and water.

Must love dogs (sorry no more pets) and be lgbtq+ friendly. Non-smoking in the house. No couples. Overnight guests 1-2 times a week.

Roommate: My name is Cassie and my dog’s name is Koa. I’m in my late 30s and he’s 7 months old. I’m a responsible and respectful roommate. When I’m not home Koa is in his crate either in the living room or my office. I work from home, but I have an office downstairs. I also teach college at night once a week. I’ve been living here for almost 10 years and absolutely love the house. In my free time, I like to cycle, trail run and camp. During the week I keep it pretty low key because of my work schedule, but on the weekends I like to ride or run with friends and go to breweries in town.

You: Someone in their late 20s or 30s who wants to live in a safe neighborhood close to the beach. Must have a full time job and pass a background check per my landlord. Looking for someone who is clean, responsible, and respectful. Bonus points if you like to surf or cycle! I’m looking to find someone who wants to share a fairly large space together without having multiple roommates.
