Farm living is the life for me!

My small farm is home to my rescued animals, horses, goats, dogs and cats, of course. There are also chickens, ducks, peacocks and rabbits. Set in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, we have views forever and 4 seasons. The garden provides yummy veggies and helps to feed the animals too. Our small town has loads of personality and is a gateway town to nearby Yosemite National Park. There is a lot going on, music on the green, a farmer's market, loads of music festivals and concerts and of course hikes galore for wildflowers, vistas, waterfalls etc

The house is well lived in and comfy. i have a full time housekeeper to help keep up with the animals. I'm not a neatnik, but things are tidy. Your room is spacious with a skylight and private bathroom. It can be furnished or empty as you prefer. We can set up independent kitchen in the next door laundry room or we can share the main kitchen. I'm amenable to either solution.

I am a left leaning liberal and would prefer someone with similar ethics and philosophies. My lifestyle is early riser and early to bed as daylight is needed to care for the animals. I like a quiet household and love a good meal and a movie. I'm an avid bridge player, walk the dogs 2+ miles a day on nearby trails as my farm is surrounded by giant ranches where I have walking permission.

I am college educated, lived in New York city for 20+
years, speak fluent french and am a member of our local french club.
