Private bedroom in 2 bed/1.5 bath (Sawtelle)

Hello! I’m looking for a female roommate (mid-twenties to mid-thirties / working professional) to join me in my 2 bed/1.5 bath apartment in Sawtelle/Brentwood. The neighborhood is super safe, quiet, and walkable.

The details:
- Unfurnished room available in late April / early May
- Rent is ~$1,200 + utilities (average ~$75 a month)
- 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths (shared bathroom w/ shower upstairs)
- $1,200 deposit and small application fee for background check
- 1 shared parking space and easy street parking. My current roommate and I alternate using the parking spot weekly and never have any issues.
- Dishwasher and on-site coin laundry
- Month-to-month lease but I’m looking for someone to commit to 1+ years
- My current roommate will be taking most of the furniture with her when she moves out, but I plan to replace everything in the common spaces. However, if you have furniture, there’s plenty of space for it!

In order to qualify, you’ll need to send an application to the building and must be able to qualify on your own (no cosigners). So, you must have a stable income and good credit.

About me: I’m 28 and work in a museum (hybrid schedule). I’m looking for a roommate who is kind, courteous, and respectful of common spaces. I enjoy distance running, trips to museums, and reading good books in coffee shops. I’d love a roommate who is also interested in being friends.
