This pet-friendly 2bd, 2bth second-story corner apartment is tucked away on a quiet street right off a main road. Walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, bus stops, a metro station, and more, you could easily get around without a car — but if you do have one, the entrances to the 405 and 10 are only a few minutes away. Quick rundown:

Building: 8 units, 2 stories + above-ground tandem parking. Rent includes parking, water, and trash. Each floor has a washer/dryer.

Shared space: the corner apartment wit high ceilings gets tons of sunlight and a great cross-breeze. When it’s too hot or cold for open windows, central AC/heat keep it comfy. The galley kitchen has a gas range, dishwasher, and lots of storage, and leads to a shared balcony.

Your bedroom: big enough for a bed, desk, and more! With a large closet, floor-length mirrors, your own balcony, and a full en-suite.

Me: 30s queer woman originally from east coast. I work in tech and run my own pet care business (outside of the apartment). I’m a homebody and spend most of my time crafting, playing games, volunteering, and cooking. I am personally teetotal and do occasionally have friends over for dinners, craft nights, etc. I love to yap and I’m very much neurodivergent, but I’m also happy to adapt to what makes you comfortable. Ideally I’m looking not just for a new roommate, but a new friend!

The free-loaders: Mercedes is a 16yo blind toy poodle who spends most of her time napping. She’s very much a people-dog and will want to cuddle and love you but ignores other animals. I also have three guinea pigs who live in my room. They’re very friendly and you’re welcome to play with them, or not, whatever floats your boat.

You: 20s-30s, friendly, good with direct and kind communication. I’m pretty much flexible on everything else. I am a stickler for cleanliness. Everyday mess or some dishes in the sink won’t bother me, but I do like to keep shared spaces organized and clean. That said, I don’t expect you to go out of your way to meet my arbitrarily high standards, so as long as you clean up after yourself, do your share of normal chores, etc., I’ll cover any remaining tasks beyond the usual cleaning checklist.
