Cheap and Decent

This is a 2 bedroom - 2 bathroom apartment in West LA. One block from Santa Monica true City Limits. 15 minutes to the beach, 5-10 min to the 405 and 10 freeways.

The local area is standard. You'll find cheap corner shops, a 7/11, Starbucks, UPS Store, plenty of good grocery stores. I love it because it is very affordable and still close to the beach and Century City Mall.

My current roommate is moving out to be closer to family.

The room for rent has a wall closet, large window, and would have access to the nicest bathroom in the place with a full bath/shower, toilet, and sink. It also has a desk, office chair and queen size bed available that are all barely used. The prior roommate left them behind but had the bed covered in a plastic cover so... we can throw it out if you prefer to bring your own, but is there if you need it.

I currently stay in the Master Bedroom with only a standup shower and no window.

The living room is decent size. I have a coffee table, (3) seater leather recliner couch, art on the walls, aquarium, TV stand, 65" 4K smart TV with HBO MAX, Amazon, Disney, and Apple. Currently running ultra fast Internet.

The kitchen is okay. I am an involved cook and it does the job quite well. Granite counters!

The dining table is in the space next to a window and adjacent to the kitchen. Nice table.

There is also an patio setup as a nice outdoor hangout space. There is a large walk in living room closet with tons of storage. There is also an outdoor lockable storage in the garage area.

I do work from home and my desk is in the open area of the living room, out of the way. I'm currently in a fortune 500 corporate job and looking for a better one, so my work from home schedule may become full time in the office if I accept an offer.

I really don't mind most types of roommates as long as they are clean and considerate. If you can't clean, you will be expected to contribute to a cleaning service. I get along very well with females and have had several female roommates in the past. My biggest pet peeves are refilling the water jug and finishing up dishes in the same night.

I understand what it's like to move in with someone new! So I am fully down to do a soft reset of habits and things. We can get to know each other's preferences for stuff and work together on things like food and cleaning or whatever else. I'm pretty easy going (besides cleanliness).
