Tldr: Rent is $1700 + utilities. Room is partially furnished but can be completely unfurnished if you prefer. Water and trash are included. No smoking, no couples, unfortunately no pets, permit street parking, laundry in building. Move-in available now. Utilities (internet, gas, electric) are usually under $100 a month total per person. Security deposit is $2000 (covers one month rent and a maid. If you don't want a maid, the deposit is $1700). To move in, one month rent + security deposit is required.
The apartment is about 1400 sf plus a balcony. The “bedroom wing” is private thanks to a door separating it from the living area which also helps a lot with noise control. Everything is fully furnished other than the available bedroom. There’s a brand new QLED 4K 75“ TV in the living room. The kitchen is a good size and has a gas stove/oven and dishwasher. There’s a full wet bar that I have mostly setup for coffee and tea. There is also a workout bench and weights. Central A/C and heating.
Large private bedroom with two large sliding closets–one on each side of the room. You have your own bathroom right across the hall with a shower/tub combo and ample storage. I’ll make sure my guests use my bathroom instead of yours. Comes with a curtain and shower curtain, but feel free to swap them out if you would prefer something different. There are a few pieces of furniture in the room you’re welcome to use (one-month-old mattress, nightstand, small table, lamp, 55“ TV, some art etc), otherwise I’ll store/donate them. There is a glass sliding door leading from the bedroom to the balcony. I have a couple knick-knacks on the balcony, but otherwise you can make it your space.
About me: I’m 31, clean, quiet, have a direct and open communication style, and do the typical entertainment/bartending LA thing. I’m really into fitness and video games. I visit family in San Diego for a few days once every month or two (usually more in summer because better beaches). I’d love to have a roommate who I can be friends with, but I’m totally happy with someone who can coexist peacefully and respectfully. I’ve lived in both situations and enjoyed both.
About you: Looking for a female or gay male roommate in their 20s-30s. The lease is now month to month, but I’d prefer a longer term roommate. Looking for a roommate who also enjoys a clean and peaceful home.
