Hi, my name is Clarissa and I’m looking to rent out my spare room in my mobile home. My home is an animal friendly home as I do own a 5 month old kitten. She is a female diluted calico who is spayed. My current roommate has a male (black) cat and they get along perfectly. She is very friendly and playful. She’s trained to use her litter (it’s in the utility room so the smell doesn’t penetrate thankfully!) and I do let her have free access to roam around the house. She won’t enter your room or restroom unless you let her (she’s never entered my current Roomates room unless my roommate grabs her and brings her in; which is also very rare!) I do have air purifiers around the home, plug in air fresheners, & space is candle friendly. The AC in the dining area is usually running 24/7 (your room has its own window AC as well that you are able to control) I typically broom & dust every other day or by day when needed. I deep clean/reset the home every Sunday’s or Mondays. I work overnights so I am home all day for the most part, but I am quiet and kept to myself/won’t bother you unless you want to communicate.
Some rules I go by: Cleaning up after your own mess (dishes, spills, your restroom/room). Ask before using any roommates’ belongings. Respect personal space and always knock before entering room (I won’t go inside your room unless you tell me to enter or I need to do maintenance; which is very rare and will give you a heads up notice in advance) Please be mindful and give a heads up before inviting guests over so it isn’t an unwelcome surprise, I’ll do the same in return. It’s okay to have friends or family over from time to time, but you’ll need to be considerate when doing so. I don’t allow renters to let people sleepover (this varies on the renter). If your guests however remain after your roommate has gone to sleep or while they are doing something that requires concentration, keep your noise levels down to avoid disturbances as walls are thin. Plan ahead and make a budget to ensure you can pay both your rent and bills on time. Always treat others, especially those you live with, how you would like to be treated.
Home info: it’s a double size mobile home, two bedroom, two bathroom (floor space is on the open side and has great lighting throughout the home), shared refrigerator, shared cooking/dining space, shared living area (I allow my streaming services to be used on the main tv screen), a small backyard, two parkings available (one for you and the other for me), community laundry unit on site (app needed for payment, easy installment) , community pool, and clubhouse. The location is in an area close to the freeway and shopping center. As well as it being 7 minutes away from Cal Poly Pomona and Mt. SAC. The pictures of the room is the one for rent. My current roommate will be moving out soon. So I’m looking for someone to move in November 1st. There is a $35 fee *money order only accepted* and application form once approved by landlord and park management.
