Bright, well-lit bedroom with a walk-in closet and private bathroom, available in a 5-bedroom, 3-bath house in Sylmar. The master bedroom is roughly 500 square feet with abundant natural light and adjustable recessed lighting.

We have a very spacious kitchen with modern appliances, filtered hot and cold water, and plenty of fridge space. The home has central heating and air conditioning throughout.

Outside, you’ll find a relaxing backyard with mature fruit trees, a barbecue, and outdoor seating — great for unwinding or hosting. The surrounding neighborhood is clean and safe, with food, shopping centers, and gyms all close by.

Couples are welcome with an additional $150/month fee to cover extra utilities.

Dogs and cats are welcome. Pet rent is $50/month for small pets (under 20 lbs) and $75/month for large pets (over 20 lbs), with a $250 pet deposit per pet. Pets must be kept in your room when you are not home.

The application process requires income verification and a credit check.

You’d be joining a household of three other housemates — a mix of professionals with their own routines and respect for shared space.

The bedroom on the first floor is currently empty and up for rent.

Upstairs, there are three housemates. One of them is a music producer who loves to hike on his days off. The other one is a retired Navy Vet who is currently going to school. On his off days, he enjoys cooking and going to the gym. Lastly, the last housemate right next to the master bedroom is a young paralegal who enjoys going to the gym on her off days. Everyone keeps things very clean, so we’re looking for someone who is also tidy and willing to maintain a cleaning schedule for the shared common space.

The vibe is quiet, considerate, and independent — everyone does their own thing, but the house runs smoothly because people take care of their shared spaces.
