Furnished private bed/bath for rent in a charming 2-story mid-century apartment in Studio City. Available May 1st. Extra-large fenced in private patio, (super rare find for an apartment in L. A.) Month-to-month sublease agreement, but ideally please plan on staying at least 3 months. Long-term is even better.

Excellent location: relatively quiet, very nice neighborhood, near bus line, near Ventura Blvd with tons of great shopping and dining. Awesome neighborhood bodega/deli and great neighborhood coffee shop both in easy walking distance.

You will have only 1 roommate in the apartment. Apartment is in a small 7-unit building with a charming courtyard (shared by all tenants) and a large private patio (shared only with your roommate.) It's an older mid-century building with plenty of character and charm and lots of greenery, making it a really nice little oasis in the city that instantly feels like home. Great community within the building- all the tenants look out for each other!

-use of IN-UNIT washer/dryer
-private furnished bedroom (approx. 13x10 ft, plus closet)
-your own small private bathroom w/ walk-in shower
-shared furnished living room w/ fireplace and TV
-shared kitchen w/ dishwasher and other appliances
-direct access from your bedroom to a large fenced-in back patio w/ bbq and plenty of greenery (shared with roommate only.) Great for pets!

Your bedroom is furnished with; Queen bed w/ 12" Nectar foam mattress, dresser/night stand, bookcase, rug, and lamp. Also comes with; portable AC, air purifier, space heater, and small TV with blu-ray player. A small glasstop drafting table/desk can be added as well upon request, or use the extra space for whatever you'd like to bring in.
(If you have your own furniture and prefer the whole room to come unfurnished, that can potentially be arranged for the right roommate.)

A friendly, house-trained pet is welcome! Must be approved before-hand, however.

Your roommate will be:
-entertainment industry professional male in his 40's
-has separate bdrm, home office, and bath upstairs, (yours are on the ground level along with the common areas.)
-non-smoker, non-partier
-considerate, easy-going, and friendly
-socially conscious and inclusive
-has one small dog

Please Note:
-no parties
-no smoking indoors
-Once the roommate has approved you, the building management will also need to approve you. You must pass a credit check and provide proof of income. No exceptions. Management will not approve anyone who does not meet this requirement. They also charge a $25 application fee to cover the credit check they run.

Required: first month's rent, plus fully refundable $1,475 security deposit before move-in. No exceptions.
