- the north room rents for 950 and is available now
- the deposit is one month's rent
- the rooms are all single (one person only)
- no pets allowed
- utilities (DWP, gas, high speed internet, weekly house keeping and gardening) and parking for everyone are included in rent
- our weekly housekeepers are awesome :)

Over the years the house has attracted people in their twenties, mostly students and young professionals from all over the country and the world, looking for a comfortable, safe and creative space.
There's a very laid back vibe at the house, which is a comfortable space about a 10 min straight bike ride from campus.

The house has a cozy fireplace and central heating for the winter and central AC to stay cool in the summer, plenty of parking for everybody in the garage and in the back, many modern amenities and a cool tree in the backyard with plants, a table and chairs and parking for bikes.

Ben

I'm 24, originally from New Jersey, and I recently graduated from Virginia Tech. I'm currently an intern at Morphosis Architects, starting mid-September, working toward becoming a licensed architect. Outside of work, I love spending time with dogs, going to the gym, being outdoors, traveling, and making things with my hands. I like staying busy in that way. I'd call myself a homebody overall, though I enjoy a healthy balance of quiet time and being social. I'm quiet, respectful, and considerate of shared spaces and the people I live with. As for cleanliness, I'd rate myself around a 7 to 7.5 out of 10. I'm tidy and considerate of shared spaces, without being overly rigid about it.

Valentina

My name is Valentina, I’m 21 years old and I’m attending SMC for my law degree since my mom is a lawyer and it seems like a fun degree. Hopefully I’ll transfer to USC, UCLA or Stanford in the next 2 years. I was born in Connecticut and I lived in Peru for like 4 years and went to a private school there. My parents are both Italian but I’m still practicing the language to communicate with my family in Italy. I love going to coffee shops, thrifting, the beach, surfing (I suck at it), acting, book shops, and trying new food. I hope to get to know all of you and be friends with you guys!

Steven

Hi, my name is Steven, I'm 21 years old, and I'm from Oklahoma. I'm going to be a senior at USC studying human biology, with hopes to attend medical school in the future. I would describe myself as an ambivert, who loves books, basketball, philosophy, and talking to people from diverse walks of life. I also really want to explore LA more this semester and have a list of cafes and sightseeing to accomplish! On a scale of cleanliness, I would rate myself a 8/10. I never enjoy living in a space that is crammed with junk, so I always make an effort for my place to be clear of clothes on the floor or dishes in the sink.

I am 25 years old from Maryland living in LA for 7 years now. I currently work for the Los Angeles County Sanitation District during the day and DJ during the night so I’m usually not home but when i am i'll be enjoying a movie or doom scrolling.

On a scale of 1 to 10 on cleanliness i would give myself an 8.

Jan, the landlord, is multilingual, has a master's degree in IT and Electrical Engineering from The TUM in Munich, Germany, a music degree from Musicians Institute in Hollywood and is always happy to help. He lives and works out of his music recording studio only a few minutes away from the house, and loves wind, water and snow sports and traveling.
