Private Room for Rent in LA

Hello!

My name is Brooke and I’m looking for a roommate to rent a private room in a 1,100 square foot 2 bed/1 bath apartment starting Oct 1st. The room can be furnished for move in and is 10’2” x 11’6”. There is one shared bathroom which I have been able to easily coordinate with previous roommates.

IMPORTANT: The leasing office requires applicants to view the apartment in person with property manager present prior to applying for the apartment.

Utilities come to about $50/month & there is a $250 security deposit. These photos are from 1 year ago, but are a good representation for the most part. I love pets, but sadly I am looking to keep the apartment pet free currently. There is no AC, but fans tend to work & you can buy a window AC for your room & pay the difference in electricity if you want.

The apartment building is located in Jefferson Park off of the 10 freeway, near Koreatown, West Adam’s, USC, and about 15 minutes from downtown. My favorite features of the apartment are great street parking, an open floor plan with plenty of natural light, and friendly neighbors.

A little about me: I’m a 28 year old graduate student studying to be a Marriage and Family Therapist. I go to my campus a few nights a week, and see clients virtually from my room at different times. I'm pretty easy going and I value open communication as we work to consider each other’s schedules and preferences, and I am hoping to keep a friendly and homey atmosphere in the apartment. Sadly my roommate is moving to the east coast for work, and I'm hoping I can find another great fit!
