Looking for a HOUSEMATE to share a 2br/2ba freestanding guesthouse on a quiet street in the heart of Silver Lake. Great location near shops/restaurants, the reservoir and meadow, Sunset Blvd., and the 101, 5, and 2 freeways, north of DTLA.



Available room is a MASTER BEDROOM with an attached private bathroom. It has a closet and a second private entry onto a patio space. Shared space includes a living room, dining space, kitchen, and outdoor patio. Washer/Dryer unit in the shared bathroom. The guest house is over a garage on the same property as a two story house but the trees and landscaping provide a natural screen between the two homes and give a private feel.

The guest house has an independent, serene patio lined by succulents, palms and a trumpet tree. Lots of nice walks, hiking, and hillside stairs nearby. Griffith Park just a short drive away. You can rent the room unfurnished ($1750) or furnished ($1800) and the move in date is flexible. Short-Term Leases also an option. The apartment is furnished, but if you have things you want to have in the shared space, we can certainly discuss moving yours in. A single car garage is optional ($150). Share utilities (gas, electric, and wifi). Credit check by landlord will be at applicant's expense ($40).

I am a 23 year old male student at UC Riverside studying psychology. Generally quiet and pretty chill. Like movies, music, fiction, sports, etc. Busy with school and work (coaching high school basketball). Grew up in the neighborhood and love it. Allergic to cats, but some types of dogs might be possible with landlord's approval (and pet deposit).
