Rent: $1,200/month - The rental agreement is month-to-month, and a 30-day notice is required when moving out. Our landlord also requires a security deposit of $2,400.

About: This listing is for a private unfurnished upstairs room in a three-bedroom house with in-unit washer & dryer and 1.5 shared bathrooms in Silver Lake. The house has a large deck that gets lots of sun during the summer and is enjoyable year-round. We're walking distance from the reservoir/park and many great shops and restaurants.

We’re looking for a clean, easy-going roommate with a stable income. We like having people over on weekends and sometimes throw parties. Our expected quiet hours are after midnight on weeknights. One of us works from home, and he's usually around the house during the day, so there's typically someone to receive deliveries for you if needed. The other goes into the office 80% of the time but works from home occasionally. The landlord forbids cigarette smoking at the house, and unfortunately we cannot accept roommates with cats.

About the Current Tenants:
Pat - writer, works in film/media, into movies, the arts, reading, coffee, social justice, photography, concerts, food, grilling, and sports

Walker - works in film distribution, into movies/reality tv (survivor especially), theatre, museums, philanthropy, gardening, chess, tennis and hiking.

Additional Housing Costs:
Utilities: Approx. $80-$120 / month per person (includes: Internet, Gas, Water, Electric, and Sanitation)
