Hey! I’ll be out of town for 4 months and am looking for someone to sublease my furnished room (with its own bathroom) from May 1st to August 31st in our 3BR apartment in Santa Monica for $1500/month.
About the apartment/building: - big common area with TV/streaming subscriptions - outside patio area with a gas grill - central heat (no a/c) - [2] shared washers & [2] dryers in the building (use via ShinePay app) - bike storage room - apartment is on the 1st floor - fresh water system, dishwasher & refrigerator - lots of natural light - no pets permitted - Parking (you can use my parking spot in our gated garage)
About me and the bedroom: I’m a 38 year guy, have a king sized bed, my own bathroom, tv with some streaming services, computer desk & I’ll make room in the closet & dresser for you.
About my roommates: Aaron & Jessica are both very easy to get along with, clean, mature and are in their 30s. They are social outside of the apartment, have full time jobs (Jessica is a teacher so off during the summertime) and both are into physical fitness/activities.
About you: We are looking for a guy or girl that is clean, reasonably quiet by 10pm & will respect my room and the apartment.
About the area: We are in a prime area in Downtown Santa Monica that is a 15 minute walk to the Third Street Promenade, 15 minute walk to the California Ave incline ramp that leads down to the beach, 10 minute walk to Vons grocery store, 20 min walk to Downtown Santa Monica metro station, near coffee shops/banks/gyms/etc & there is a park with basketball and tennis courts across the street.
Costs: - Rent: $1500/month + Utilities (WiFi, Gas & Electric) - Application Fee (one-time): $50 (due to the property management company) - Addendum Fee (one-time): $150 (due to the property management company since they require the sublessee to be temporarily added to our lease)
