Room in a cozy book lovers' apartment

My dear friend and housemate of 9 years just got married and moved in with her new husband, so we are looking for someone new to take over her half of our lease.

Includes a parking space you can have to yourself (uncovered). Is also a short walk to public transportation and USC shuttles.

Furnishing for the available bedroom is negotiable. It currently has a full bed, a desk and some shelves.

Your prospective housemate (me): an LGBTQ+ friendly Iraqi-American socialist nerd with a quiet life. I work from home, read, cook, watch documentaries and do crafts. I don't drink and I'm not a partier. I'm more than happy to help someone new find their way around the city.

The apartment is bright and sunny with cream-colored walls, decorated with earth tones, jewel tones and woodland prints, and things you'd expect of a place curated by lefty, snarky, down to earth Middle Eastern and Indian women.
