1 bedroom for rent with washer & dryer

About the apartment:
Hello, we’re looking for a roommate in the Westlake area. Our apartment is on the ground floor of a historic apartment complex. It’s walking distance from the nearest café, movie theater, public mailbox, and the Crypto Arena.
Rent is $937.50 - $1,000 per person depending on parking. Rent is due on the 1st of each month and there is a security deposit to move in which is the equivalent of 1st month’s rent. Utilities are paid separately. Room will be available June 1st.

Personal space:
UNfurnished bedroom (11’ x 12’ not counting the closet; closet is 5’2” x 2’8”; ceiling is 9’9”).

Shared space:
two bathrooms,
furnished living room,
in-unit washer and dryer,
furnished kitchen/dining room.

Important things to note:
This apartment complex is over 100 years old. It was built to last, but its architecture is of the time. I’m sure the narrow hallway does not match modern ADA standards. If you have mobility issues (such as a wheelchair or a cane), this could be difficult.
Room is currently full of furniture so I’m using old pictures of my room from when I moved in. It’s the mirror image of her room. I measured and dimensions are the same, just reversed.

Things I love:
unsolved mysteries (the weirder the better)
vintage cinema (1910 - 1967ish)
cryptozoology (that means study of unidentified creatures, NOT crypto coin)
my record collection (especially my bad musicals)
cooking from scratch (usually improvised recipes)
writing (I don’t do it enough)
hiking (in the places tourists don’t know)
equality for ALL under the law (this shouldn’t be controversial)

Roommate requirements:
Pay rent on time.
Communicate openly.
Share the housework at least every other week.
Vaccinated against COVID.
Respect personal possessions.
Recycle (again, I’ll answer any questions you have).
If you smoke, you must keep it outside the common areas. If you absolutely must smoke in your room, keep the windows open.
You must be an LGBTQI+ ally.
