Community-oriented house share in historic home

Community-oriented house share looking for a new femme roommate to move in 1/1. Month to month, open to short term, but we’d prefer someone looking to stay longer. Rent is 970/month plus utilities. While not everyone in the house is queer, we are a queer friendly space.

About the house:
6 bedroom/2 bathroom historic home (almost 120 years old) in Harvard Heights (near Koreatown and USC). Includes parking, in unit washer/dryer, furnished common areas, front porch and backyard, and a very responsive landlord who lives just 1 street over. Lots of space compared to most of what you see in LA. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any animals (even service animals due to roommate allergies). Our lease is month to month, but we would prefer someone who is looking to stay long term.

About the housemates/house culture:
Our goal in the house is to be an intentional community rather than just a group of individuals living together. There are 6 people total in the house, which makes for some really rad opportunities for community, support, and growth. However, living with so many people is not without it’s challenges. Fortunately, we’ve implemented systems to help navigate those challenges including fortnightly house meetings, a chore tracking app with a monthly required minimum for contributions, and quarterly improvement projects to continually make our space one that we all enjoy being in.
