The room is the master, including a pretty big walk-in closet and bathroom with a shower. As well as a nice sized window. The living room is furnished, but the bedroom would not be. The apartment complex (The Villas of Pasadena) is appealing largely because of the location and overall livability. The complex sits in a very walkable, central part of Pasadena, close to restaurants, coffee shops, cultural spots, and everyday errands, with easy access to Old Pasadena, South Lake Avenue, and nearby museums and parks. The Del Mar Metro station is within walking distance, making it convenient for commuting around the San Gabriel Valley and into Los Angeles, and freeway access is quick without the area feeling overly hectic. The surrounding neighborhood strikes a nice balance between urban energy and classic Pasadena charm, with tree-lined streets and a residential feel just steps from busier corridors.

Within the complex, residents tend to appreciate the practical amenities and community feel. The property offers a saltwater pool, fitness center, clubhouse, underground parking, controlled access, and package lockers, which together make daily life easier. Many units (ours included) have balconies or patios and updated interiors, and the building is pet-friendly and smoke-free. While it’s not a brand-new luxury development and some residents mention the building’s age or occasional maintenance issues, the combination of amenities, walkability, and central location makes the Villas of Pasadena a solid choice for people who want an active, connected Pasadena lifestyle without sacrificing comfort.

The community here is very welcoming, and we have some really awesome neighbors. The apartment manager is also very kind and helpful. You would be living with Ellie, who is a songwriter and cat mom from Texas. She values routine, loves coffee, is gluten free (but if you aren’t it is ok), and is about to graduate from college and start her career in the music industry.
