THE HOUSEMATES:
Our current housemate is a research scholar at USC (university) from Barcelona, very active bicyclist, surfer, etc. Our other housemate is moving to NY for a job opportunity. Both are very respectful, busy, outgoing and independent. They are lovely, lowkey, like to laugh and areinteresting to know. So are we.
My husband and I often travel and have lived internationally. We have been wonderfully received in the places we have stayed. We try to do the same here.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Ocean Park in Santa Monica is rarely hot (ocean breeze), has good air quality and offers great access to the outdoors: surfing/beach/volleyball/yoga, 18 mile bike path, farmers markets.
Ocean Park is the only part of Santa Monica where you can walk to the beach without crossing a highway.
- The street is busy and has an urban feel while the neighborhood is residential.
