We have a room for rent in our house in Atwater Village. We are 3 professionals in our 40s and 50s, one male and two women, with one very friendly, medium size dog.
We share the kitchen, living room/dining room, front and backyards and laundry room. There is a bathroom not attached to the room for rent, but it is mostly used for the available room (we all have our own bathrooms, when guests come they occasionally will use any of the available bathrooms). 3 of the bedrooms in the house are in use; there are 2 other bedrooms that are either for guests or as a music playing/recording room. We have high speed internet and split all utilities, and we have multiple streaming channels that we individually pay for but share with each other. We are within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants on Glendale Ave. (including an awesome Sunday farmer's market) and Los Feliz Blvd., as well as Griffith Park and the Los Angeles River. We are about 2 minutes away from the 5 freeway, and 5 minutes away from the 2 freeway. There is plenty of street parking, but we do have a driveway if you are going out of town and need longer-term parking.
