Private bedroom w/en-suite bathroom

Hi there, my fiancé and I are looking for a new roommate as our current roommate is moving in with his girlfriend. We’re both working professionals with hybrid jobs in the public sector. He’s a software engineer and I’m a facilities manager. We’re looking for a single, working professional or student.

We’re looking to rent a private bedroom with an in-suite bathroom and walk in closet on the first floor of our 3 story townhome. The room for rent is the only room on the floor so you will have complete privacy. You will also have full access to our kitchen and common areas on the second floor including the dining room, living room, laundry room, and outdoor patio.

Pictures show room furnished but the room will be unfurnished!

A little about us, we’re homebodies who enjoy our space and do a decent amount of cooking at home. We have quite busy obligations to family, but if we had a choice we’d be lounging at home playing video games and taking it easy. I enjoy baking here and there as well and always share when I can!

We don’t party, drink or smoke so we’d ideally like someone who shares these values and is looking for something similar.

We rarely have guests over, but if we do we’ve always let our housemate know in advance out of respect for them. Guests are 95% of the time family.

We’ve got two cute cats who are quite friendly, so we’re looking for someone who is okay with cats and does not have pets of their own.

We like to keep a clean house as best we can and we make efforts to keep shared areas very clean and clutter free. We have all the kitchen appliances needed so ideally looking for someone who doesn’t have too much stuff of their own. We have a microwave, nespresso, ninja blender, air fryer, and a ninja creami!

Utilities will be an additional charge but the house has solar installed so electricity costs should be fairly low.

Parking is street only. Overnight street parking is available and does not require a parking permit.
