Furnished private bedroom available in a peaceful, plant-filled Mid-City home from August 5 through September 30, with the possibility of extending beyond September if it feels like a good mutual fit.

Rent is $1,750 per month and includes utilities and high-speed Wi-Fi. August rent will be prorated from the August 5 move-in date. The refundable security deposit is $875.

The bedroom has a queen bed, desk, two closets, carpeted floors, good natural light, and plenty of storage. The home has thick walls and good sound insulation, so the room feels private and quiet.

Shared spaces include a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a projector and large movie screen, dining area, one shared bathroom, in-unit washer and dryer, air conditioning, heating, a plant-filled balcony courtyard, and a large green backyard with a patio.

You would share the home with Sophia, a hospitality professional, Ayurvedic health coach, and clinical herbalist. She is friendly and social while also valuing a calm, clean home. You would also live with Yao Pookie, a very affectionate resident cat.

We are looking for one considerate, communicative, financially reliable person who cleans up after themselves and treats the home with care. This is a warm and friendly household, but not a party house. No smoking inside. An additional pet may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The house is centrally located near West Adams, Culver City, Koreatown, Miracle Mile, Downtown Los Angeles, and the Westside, with grocery stores, cafes, bus lines, and major freeways nearby.
