Room Available in 3-Bedroom Apt

Looking for someone to rent a bedroom in a 3-bedroom apartment, ideally long term. I (35M) am a filmmaker and have lived here for 9+ years. My current day-job is working at Trader Joe's. My roommate (25M) does film production and moved in last summer.

The whole apartment is furnished except for the available bedroom. The apartment has one bathroom. There's central air and a washer/dryer. Street parking only, but it's never difficult to find. You don't need a permit.

Landlord does a background and credit check. If you're a student, you also need a full-time job. Our landlord WILL NOT consider anyone who is unemployed, even if you have a cosigner. There's a $40 fee to submit an application.

For the year 2024, the average monthly utilities cost (electric, gas, and Internet) was $102. I haven't done the math for 2025, but it was probably a bit more expensive because of inflation.

We are open to pets. For dogs, our landlord charges a one-time fee of $500 (unless it's a service dog). I'm not sure about other animals. I'd have to ask.

We are LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly.

We're just looking for someone who's chill and respectful. We work from home a lot, so we're not looking for party types. Pay the rent on time and don't blast music, and we'll get along just fine.
