Me: 37 y. o. single cishet white woman + elder Millennial. I lead a community mental health program by day, get artsy on the side , and am DEFINITELY in my homebody era so I have *all* the streaming services and watch *all* the shows (with a sweet spot for psychological thrillers, dark comedies, true crime, reality romance, reality competition (can you say Traitors?!), goofy warm-hearted sitcoms (à la Parks & Rec or The Office), and mystery miniseries… especially of the British/international variety). I’ve also gotten into K-beauty, interior design, cozy minimalism, and long romantic walks at HomeGoods 😂 I pride myself on being a kind, responsible, ethical, and nonjudgmental roommate/landlord who nurtures a gentle + light-hearted atmosphere at home, because life is hard enough out there!

You: Individual long-term renter seeking a safe, stable, relaxed, and welcoming home in our lovely Long Beach community! Down to cohabitate with 2 very sweet kitties (one with a spicy side)… Unfortunately if you have cats or dogs of your own, we probably won’t be the right fit because my 2 cats are maxing out that energy 😹😸 however smaller creatures that could live in your room are probably cool! Appreciative (or at least tolerant!) of an organic modern aesthetic with curated wall art in common areas (see photos). Won’t judge all the takeout I’ve been eating lately 😅😋

Us: Interested in building a friendship as roommates/hanging out when we feel like it AND going about our day/doing our own thing no questions asked. Respectful of one another and committed to a nourishing, comfortable, and supportive home. Motivated to maintain a clean and lovely space, but compassionate and relaxed when spoons are low and it may take an extra day or two to finish a chore. No chore charts or micromanaging because we’re too old for that 😅 Able to laugh through this wild life while holding space for all the heaviness.
