Hello! Our roommate of two and a half years just moved out and we're looking to replace him. My bf and I are looking for a roommate (M/F/T/NB) who is past the hard party years and is looking for a nice place at the end of a workday. Its a three bedroom condo in Dwtn LB that was built in 2008. We're not far from the Pike and Rainbow Lagoon. I am an original owner. The bedroom is newly painted and fresh. Bathroom shower was just replaced along with the toilet and faucets. (While 99% time it is yours to use, we do allow visitors to still use it as a 'Guest' bathroom.) You will get to furnish the bedroom and we don't expect any other furniture outside of the room. We have plenty of furniture otherwise. Room for your stuff in the kitchen, too. (We also have a new-ish fridge!)

You will have an underground parking space behind two gates, a security entry as well as access to a recreation room w/pool table (NOT a pool! HAHA!) and an outdoor grill in the building courtyard. (Also, bike lockers are available for rent.)

Living downtown definitely has noise issues. Plus we live over a bar, so weekend evenings are boisterous. BUT, our closed windows go a long way to cutting down on the noise.

I work from home two weekdays a week, my bf works from home as well. We both have had roommates in the past as well, so we are used to another person about.
We still mask on public transportation. We hope that you are also diligent about your Covid exposure and will be willing to isolate in your room should you contract it.

I do a standard background credit check for $40 (or you can provide a current report via Credit Karma that is no older than 30 days) and we utilize a month-to-month lease that needs a signature. I also ask for references from past landlords. Rent doesn't cover electricity, but does cover gas, water, trash and WiFi. Electricity generally goes up in Summer due to A/C, but your share can range from $33 to $100 per month.
