Looking for a clean, peaceful, and predictable place to call home come September 1st? We have a simply furnished 12'8" x 9'7" bedroom available in a neat, well-maintained house. If you already have your own setup, don't pass this by—we are happy to remove the furniture if you need it unfurnished!
• Your Bathroom: Located just across the hall, it is 100% exclusively yours to use (no sharing or morning scheduling conflicts).
• The Closet: It’s a standout feature—7 feet long by 2 feet deep, offering tons of storage space.
• All-Inclusive Rent ($1,300/month): Covers all standard utilities and blazing-fast 2-Gig high-speed Wi-Fi (perfect for streaming and working). Please note we do not have cable TV service.
• Bonus Perk: The entire home is professionally cleaned every four weeks to keep things looking and smelling fresh.
Parking & Commuting
• Parking: It is street parking only, but our block has plenty of open space. You can reliably grab a spot right in front of the house 95% of the time!
• Transit & Freeways: We are incredibly well-connected. Located just 3 blocks from the Metro A-Line (Blue Line) and major bus stops, and within minutes of both the 710 and 405 freeways. Cal State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is just a quick, convenient 10-to-15-minute drive away, Downtown Long Beach is only 10 minutes out, and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and College Medical Center are both a couple of minutes away.
• Walkability: A grocery store, gas stations, fast food, and laundromats (one is just 1.5 blocks away!) are all within a few minutes by foot or less by car.
About Us & The Vibe:
After six-plus years of renting out this room, we’ve perfected the art of hosting! We can be as chatty or as low-key as you need. If you prefer to keep to yourself and have total privacy, that’s great. If you want to hang out or grab a coffee at home sometimes, we’re down for that, too. Also, don't let age ranges trip you up—people are people, age is just a number, and we welcome anyone who fits the vibe of the house!
We do share our home with an outdoor/indoor cat. She mainly spends her time outside or hanging out in the family room or our bedroom, so she will very likely just avoid you, but you do need to be cat-friendly!
Our Ideal Roommate:
We are looking for a responsible, considerate, neat, and organized individual who is motivated, working toward a goal, and pays rent reliably on time. This space is perfect for someone who isn't home all day, every day—and it would even be an absolute dream setup for a commuter who works locally during the week but heads back home on the weekends. We’re seeking someone to sign a one-year lease and hope to renew for another year after that. Depending on how happy we all are, this could be your long-term home!
House Rules (The Fine Print):
• Visitors: Friends, family, and significant others are welcome as occasional visitors! To keep the house peaceful, we just ask that overnight stays are limited to no more than a couple of nights every two weeks.
• The Basics: No illegal drugs, no indoor smoking or vaping, and a strict "no drama" policy.
