Larger (Little Tokyo) Apartment - Clean, Calm

Living Room

Currently 3 people here including myself. Two are moving for work, and 2 bedrooms open. Hoping to find someone who has a career, or is building one, cleans up their own mess, pays rent & utilities on time, guests are fine. We all have someone who will visit or stay a couple days here and there, but not looking to be the place that hosts a party every single night.

Myself, I am a conductor for the railroad. Work a ton, but still like to make things nice around home for the days I’m here and off. In the process of updating lighting and replacing furniture, getting things comfortable. I cook, and went to school for it, have a strong background in design and visual art, network engineering/IT, and halfway through a future endeavor of an architecture degree and looking to buy land, design, and build a custom house within the next year or two. Always looking to learn something new, and get better at what I do.

I have a lazy 4 year old Saint Bernard who is trained and well behaved, doesn’t steal food even if it’s left out at his level. Respects boundaries that are set. I vacuum up after him, and keep him off furniture as well. He is often gone if I’m away for more than 6-8 hours, otherwise will be found asleep in my room/his crate. Super quiet dog.

Credit/Background/Income Verification

- There is a single hard pull for the credit check. It is done as a group, and we did have one person who did not qualify prior, so use NerdWallet, CreditKarma, or Experian, etc to know where you stand prior.

For everyone’s safety, they do a background screening, and verify income to mitigate any issues with residents who wouldn’t be able to pay the rent.

Kitchen and Island
-Plenty of storage for each person to have a their own cabinet for food, plus other lower storage areas of their own for whatever else, as well as a more shared area for other items.

Balcony - Currently a table and bench. Have a spot for my dog to lay out there, decent size, well shielded from wind.

Smart Devices - I enjoy smart devices that aren’t setup in a dumb way, meaning, things that always work as expected regardless of if the app or internet is down, and not blatantly exposed to the entire world security wise. (I have a background in network engineering).

ButterflyMX - Our doorbell system, you can generate codes and allow deliveries or guests up, let people in and up to the door, and see video of who it is in the process.

Amazon Hub - 24 Hour Package Hub

Building Security - We have 24 hour or sometimes 22-23 hour security that is very proactive and knows who does and doesn’t belong here. They do a great job and making sure our private street is kept private, and actively monitoring for any problems.

Maintenance - All our maintenance is managed through an app and web service. Works really well, and the management does a great job, getting things resolved usually in hours, if not the next day. Longest I’ve waited was 2 days on a holiday weekend.

Our hallways, streets, and building is continuously cleaned, and sidewalks washed every other morning.

Parking - Parking is available but is $125. We are given 1 spot, I’m going to see about reasoning for a second to be included as well. Our garage is secured 100% gated, there isn’t any concern about security in that respect.
