Shared Living Room looking to Kitchen

I am looking for a roommate to rent my art studio and a private bedroom and bathroom. This is a unique opportunity to have your own art studio and private bedroom and bathroom at The Brewery where you can join an incredible community of artists, musicians, filmmakers, designers, architects, and other creatives. It's the largest artists' colony in the country, on a 12-acre gated site with 320+ studios and over 500 people living and working here - just a mile from downtown.

Overall, the loft has a cool vibe with a giant satellite dish light fixture in the kitchen and handmade metal fixtures in the kitchen and studio. The walls are hand-burnished paint on plaster. This loft is on the second floor and should be considered a walk-up with a keyed freight elevator to move large objects and artworks.

Your bedroom has its own entrance off the kitchen. It is furnished or you can bring your own. In the hall is a wall of closets leading to the bathroom with custom cement fixtures. There is a laundry room across the hall. The rent also includes exclusive use of the art studio.

The art studio is a beautiful and unusually large space at about 400 square feet with 22-foot ceilings and a large eastern-facing window. It has curtains and two large worktables, which can be removed. It's a great space for a painter, architect, ceramicist, clothing designer, graphic artist, architect, photographer, editor or other creative.

The loft is shared with a cinematographer/ceramist and there is large common kitchen and living area. Your roommate has an upstairs bedroom and bath well separated from your room on the main floor. My husband and I live next door and are the lease-holders on both spaces.

Barbara's at the Brewery
Our on-site bar and restaurant, Barbara's at The Brewery, is open Tuesdays through Sundays with a full bar and food from 12 to 11 most evenings and a great selection of craft beers. It's a great place to chill and meet other Brewery artists and the public.

Twice a year, the Brewery Artwalk attracts over 10,000 visitors in the Fall and Spring to visit over 100 open artists' studios. You can exhibit and sell your work or walk around and meet your neighbors. It's a great event.

Neighborhood Highlights:
Located in Lincoln Heights, close to the Arts District, Chinatown, Union Station, and Little Tokyo, the Broad, MOCA, and many other museums and points of interest. Within walking distance to parks (including LA State Historic Park), and close to Echo Park, Silver Lake, and Griffith Park. Nearby Lincoln Park has a year-round pool and Plaza de La Raza for classes and cultural events.

Bus stops just outside the complex, metro is 25 minute walk through beautiful park. Bike path begins nearby. There is easy freeway access (5, 101, 110, 10) and quick commutes:
