Hi!! Looking for a roommate for my 2br/2ba apartment in K-Town (cross streets 5th and Berendo) available as early as 4/15. Would also be open to renting out the whole place. I’m trying to save money and also moving in together with my bf which is why I can be flexible!! Open to short term or long term stays.
The options…
a) Your own bedroom in a 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment. You'd mostly have your own bathroom (it's just near the front door, so guests use it sometimes). The bedroom is furnished with a full size bed, couch, table, and table lamp. You have your own small private balcony! The room measures about 14' by 11'.
$1325/month, $500 deposit, $75 monthly cleaning fee. Can be prorated for shorter stays. Internet and utilities included.
b) The whole 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment! Can be fully furnished if you want. It's a pretty spacious apartment -- 1201 sq feet.
$3000/month, $1000 deposit, $200 monthly cleaning fee. Can be prorated for shorter stays. Internet and utilities included.
Pets: I love animals, but since this is a temporary situation it’s probably best fit for someone with no pets. Cats or small dogs are probably ok though with additional pet deposit.
Parking: Tandem inside a garage. Just involves some communication when each roommate is coming home / leaving. Street parking is not bad during the day and pretty hard at night. Guest parking is available for guests for one night at a time.
Laundry: There is a coin operated washer / dryer on each floor.
There is a dishwasher and central heating and air. The apartment is on the third floor and the building has an elevator.
The neighborhood is super walkable - lots of delicious restaurants and night life near by, and it's walkable from a Red Line Metro station!
More about me: I'm a 34 year old female TV writer / actor / comedian from OC who loves self help books and got really into plants during pandemic. I generally keep to my room or go to my boyfriend's, but occasionally cook a nice meal in the kitchen! I don't smoke or do drugs. No judgment if you do, but please don't do it in the apartment or on the balcony (HOA can be strict here.) I dance ballet and hip hop for fun. I have a piano in the living room that you're welcome to use, and also play guitar and violin on occasion! I have a boyfriend that sleeps over a few times a month. I usually stay over at his place a couple nights a week. Having friends / overnight guests / partner etc over is cool with me, I just appreciate a heads up if it’s for several nights in a row!
This is best fit for: Someone who needs a place to stay temporarily while they're looking for something more long-term, or someone who's visiting LA temporarily. Someone who's chill, reasonably clean in common areas, responsible, and a good communicator. The building quiet hours are between 10pm-8am, and HOA can be strict, so it would probably help if you're not a super night owl. Please also be a nice person and a good communicator!
Thanks for reading this long post! If you're interested, please drop me a line telling me a little about yourself, and include your insta handle / social media if you have it!
