I live in a beautiful, spacious 2 story, 2 bedroom 1&1/4 bath townhouse built in the 1930's and tucked into the Hollywood foothills on a small, quiet cul-de-sac street in a building with only 3 units, with breathtaking views of the hills, Griffith observatory, and downtown. 

The first floor is the living room, dining room and kitchen. Upstairs are both bedrooms, separated by the bathroom and hallway. Balconies on both floors. Wood floors throughout, Spanish tile in the kitchen and original art deco tile in the bathroom. High ceilings, tons of closet space, great kitchen with vintage stove. Always kept neat, clean and with a great laid-back vibe. My place has been described as feeling like a bed and breakfast, and old-Hollywood hideaway and a treehouse. It is peaceful and creative and a great sanctuary to come home to! 

The location: It is a quiet, safe, historic Hollywood Heights neighborhood, built in the 1920's to look like Positano Italy, and filled with secret staircases, vintage properties and dotted with landmarks on the national historic registry. Central to almost everything in the city and not even 5 minutes from the freeway.  10 -minutes to the Burbank film studios (Universal, Warner Bros., Disney), 5-minutes to the Hollywood Bowl, 10-minutes to Hollywood and Vine, 25-minutes to downtown Los Angeles and Pasadena and 35-minutes to UCLA and USC. Close to the Los Angeles Wilderness Preserve, Lake Hollywood reservoir, Wisdom Tree and the Hollywood sign.

Your room (the featured collage photo showing multiple angles) is 18'x12' with a large closet, large window with a view overlooking Hollywood Heights, Whitley Heights and Griffith Observatory (you have the best views in the place!) and balcony access. Lots of gorgeous light. Furnished with Queen size bed/shelves/bookcase/small dresser/lamps/ cabinets/desk/chairs etc.  (the current housemate has items in the closet and shelves in the video but those will all be gone!)

-Apartment is fully furnished, beautiful and one of a kind. 
- Blocks from the 101 freeway. Easy access to the valley, downtown, West Hollywood, etc. 
-Neighborhood feels like you're a world away from the city...yet you are minutes from great restaurants, shopping, hiking, movies etc. 
-Laundry on site- shared with only 2 other units. 
--You would have permit parking on the street. 
--There is one large shared bathroom upstairs (and also an additional water closet on the first floor). 
--Like all townhouses built in the 1930's...there is no central air, but there are ceiling fans in each room.

Priority is given to those who work outside of the house with a predictable schedule (as that makes for less stress for both of us) and minimal belongings to move in (it is a furnished room).  My home is a sanctuary that supports thriving.   A place to focus when you need to work, and fully relax when time allows.  No conflict, no drama.  Ideal for someone brand new to L. A., someone needing an LA home while  they are here working and not wanting to set up an entire home here, someone in college/grad school  and wanting more of a grown up home while they are still getting established.   

I am: Female, work in the entertainment biz. Sometimes I am home a lot, other times I am traveling extensively for work. I'm looking for a completely trustworthy person to share the space.
