Looking for someone to take the second bedroom in my two-story, 1,400 sq ft penthouse in Hollywood. Open to a traditional full-time roommate, but I’d especially love to find someone bicoastal, who travels frequently, or is only in LA part of the month — and I’m happy to offer significantly discounted rent for that arrangement.

It’s technically a 3 bed / 4 bath, but the third bedroom is a TV/guest lounge, so you’d only have one roommate.

For a part-time roommate, I’d ideally love someone who travels frequently or spends part of the month elsewhere. It gives me some flexibility to travel and occasionally sublet the apartment when we’re both away, so I can be pretty flexible on rent for the right setup.

ABOUT ME / LIVING TOGETHER
I’m a 31-year-old LGBTQ artist and business owner. Vegetarian, mostly sober, social, and usually out 3–4 nights a week. I work from home for a few hours some days but am out of the apartment a lot.

I’m very clean and looking for someone whose natural baseline is similar — dishes don’t sit in the sink, kitchen gets wiped down after cooking, things go back where they belong, etc. Friends joke that my place always looks staged. I’m not looking to micromanage anyone; I just want us to have similar habits so neither of us has to think about it.

Not really looking for someone who works from home full-time.

The vibe at home is peaceful, friendly and respectful. Friends and dates are absolutely welcome, and I’m big on giving each other space. If you ever want the apartment to yourself for a date or dinner, give me a heads-up and I’m happy to make plans.

Overnight guests are totally fine with normal courtesy — just not looking for someone’s partner to effectively become a third roommate.

Usual sleep schedule: 12–1am to 8–9am.
