FOR RENT is a fully-furnished 8x18.5 square foot room in an historic, 1920s Mediterranean-revival style apartment complex in old Hollywood. The room features vaulted, exposed-beam ceilings, tons of natural light from windows facing the front and rear of the building, views to a manicured courtyard, antique hardwood floors, and a small walk-in closet with built-in shelving.

The apartment is approximately 950 square feet and split across two levels. The ground floor features a large living area with a semi-private patio, walk-in storage closet, vaulted, arched ceilings, a breakfast nook, and a kitchen with vintage appliances.

The building is a registered LA landmark and was built in 1926 in the Mediterranean-revival style. As pictured, it features FOUR beautiful courtyards with old-growth plants and trees that are well-maintained and lit at night. The building also has two layers of gated entry, first-come, first-served off-street parking, and is located in a quiet alcove just off downtown Hollywood.

The future tenant would be sharing the apartment with me! I have just returned to Los Angeles after a period in San Francisco. I work in tech and do so mostly at home. I drink very rarely, do not smoke, do not do drugs, and generally keep things quiet. I love music, though, and I love spending time outside the apartment going on adventures.

I'm looking for a responsible, chill, roommate with a steady job who would be interested in sharing this very unique apartment with me. I'm very tidy, and would ask that we keep the shared spaces of the apartment clean. I've signed a 1-year lease that expires in July of 2026 that we would sign onto together.
