High-Style House Share Near Hollywood & Highland!

I am Sammy, a 64 year old, semi-retired professional artist and designer of some acclaim in Los Angeles. I am hoping to share my home, (which I have rented for 30 years), with someone who is financially responsible and will enjoy living here as much as I do. I am willing to consider changes that would accommodate the needs and wants of a potential housemate. I. e., you can put your TV in the living room if you want.

The house is a 1910 Craftsman with securely-gated front and back yards. There is enclosed driveway parking for up to three vehicles, (in a super hip neighborhood where parking is always scarce). There's a large, shaded front porch that welcomes you to the front door. We are just around the corner from Chick-fil-A, Raising Canes, and Hollywood High. The Hollywood & Highland Metro Rail subway station is just a seven minute walk up the street.

The house has a spacious living room with a working fireplace, a formal dining room with original, built-in cabinetry, an antiquated but charming, fully-functional kitchen. We have an in-house laundry area with washer and dryer.

I am offering the main bedroom, which has a secure view of the driveway, and street front. It's the second largest space in the house, and it's adjacent to the bathroom. It has an air conditioning unit that does not impede the windows or the view. My bedroom is in a small room at the rear of the house, so the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the property. The bathroom is shared, but it has never been problematic for any past housemates or for me. The bedroom that I'm offering is currently decorated in a grand, French gothic style that need not remain. I want the place to be what you want it to be.

Because it is a free-standing single family home, we tenants are responsible for the water and sanitation services, as well as the other utilities. I provide T-Mobile Wifi for the house at no cost, and I am willing to adjust bills that we share accordingly. I don't provide cable, but you may have it for yourself. The electricity and gas bills are relatively low because I am conscientious about air conditioning and electric heat.

I am an older gay man, but I am not a dirty old man, and others' sexual preferences are not my concern. I want to live in a world with all kinds of people. I'm okay with anyone who's okay with me.
