High Style Living in Hollywood!

This is a house share open to a mature, responsible, stable adult who is hopefully fun, funny, creative-friendly to whom style matters. The house is pure Craftsman, built in 1910 on a hip little street just off of Sunset & Highland. The interior is presently decorated in a rather grand, fun mix of French, Gothic, and Victorian, all done by a professional visual magician.

I am a semi-retired Los Angeles artist and designer of note. I am a gay man, but being gay is not the most important thing in my life. This has been my happy home for 39 years, with and without roommates. I am hoping for this to be a true home share with someone who will love living here as I do and feel free to add to our environment as he or she wishes.

Here are the amenities: Your bedroom would be the larger, more impressive of the two, with views of the front property and the street. The property is is secure, and there is ample private, gated driveway parking for two or more vehicles. The room is presently decorated in a bold French fashion, but could become anything that you want it to be. Bedroom is air conditioned by a unit that doesn't affect windows or the appearance of the space. Property features a large, shady front yard and porch that often act as a second living room, There is a small back yard at your disposal as well. The living room is the largest room in the house and it has a working fireplace, which is rare for these old houses. If you want to put your most comfortable furniture and entertainment devices in the living room, which has previously been an almost museum-like setting.. We have a washer & dryer in the small utility room off the kitchen. Kitchen is a little antiquated, having never been completely updated from its 1910 design. But it is highly functional and visually charming. I own all of the appliances with the exception of the vintage O'Keefe & Merritt stove that came with the place. There is one shared bathroom, adjacent to your bedroom. My bedroom is in the back of the property and I am fastidious and conscientious about sharing the facility. it has never been a problem at this address.

Because it is a free-standing structure, we are responsible for utilities, gas, electricity, water, etc. None have been difficult to manage. T-Mobile 5G will be provided at no extra cost to you.

The house is old and a little antiquated, but it is a beautiful and peaceful place to call home. I would be happy to show it to you and consider you as a candidate resident.
