This house is rent controlled, so you won’t get a big increase in rent! This will be a sublet with $1000 deposit.

Live with 2 females and large dog in a spacious 1200 sqft 3 bed 1.5 bath townhouse. You will have a private furnished bedroom and will share the upstairs bath (can set up space in downstairs half bathroom). Bedroom has a pullout couch, or I have a queen and a twin air mattress if preferred. It also has a leaf table and an armchair. About half of the closet is used for extra bedding, packing material, and appliance storage which does not need to be accessed regularly.

Vintage townhouse in the heart of Hollywood. It is situated in a horseshoe community, with a communal fenced-in courtyard that has a little bit of flexibility on the use of the land. There are 8 townhouses and 4 condos on the property, and many of the neighbors have been here for over 5 years. We all look out for one another. You are a half block from Hollywood Blvd, 15 minute walk to the subway, close proximity to bars, theaters, comedy clubs, grocery stores, corner stores, and restaurants. It might be noisy (mainly on weekends) and windows are single pane, so I suggest a white noise machine if you sleep light.

There is a private (shared with housemates) patio with 2 rocking chairs and room for more plants. Original hardwood floors, original hardware on many windows and doors, plaster walls, ceiling fans, in-window AC in every room of house minus bathrooms. Heater downstairs. All vents (bathroom and range) are truly vented to the outside, which helps with any odors. There is an open kitchen area that is fully stocked and must be GLUTEN FREE. Privacy window coverings are on many windows.

In-unit front-loading washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven. Utilities included. Internet at 500 gbps. Street parking or various monthly lots available within a block away starting at $150/mo.

My dog: You will live with me, my best friend, and my dog, Millie. Millie is crate trained, sleeps downstairs, typically on the couch, and I keep the couches covered, so you can pull them away if you don’t want to sit on dog fur. She likes to nest, so I can’t promise the couch is completely void of dog.

My schedule: I work from home, in healthcare, and normally wake up between 7-8a daily. I stay home in the evenings about 60% of the time. I usually go to bed between 11p-12a on weekdays. I occasionally have a few people over; usually would be over the weekend.

My morals: I am on the human rights end of the political spectrum and am a passionate ally for LGBTQIA2S+. I am a very considerate housemate and appreciate open communication. I care a lot about sustainability, but I don’t consider myself extreme; I have wash cloths for cleaning, I refill containers, keep the AC higher (75 degrees F), collect compost and drop it off at the Farmer’s market, don’t run the water while doing dishes.
