There is one room open in my beautiful, furnished Manhattan Beach, CA apartment starting November 1st.
I love living here and am extremely grateful to have found such a gem. I’m looking for someone who shares similar values for this humble abode!
The apartment is laid out in a town-home style so it feels like its own unit. There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It is two stories and the bedrooms are upstairs. The main floor has a large balcony overlooking the trees towards DTLA which makes it feel very private. There is also a working gas fireplace, a cozy kitchen, a dining area and a large living room. The space is fully furnished except for the available bedroom. There is a closet outside of the bathroom with shared space that can be used to store your belongings.
The available bedroom has a walk-in closet, a window facing west. It shares a full bathroom with the first room which includes a window with view, and a bathtub/ shower. It is also $1300/month.
Street parking is available. We have one garage space to share. Small garage storage space available for beach bicycle/ athletic gear/ surfboard and maybe 1-3 small boxes.
We have a coin-operated washer and dryer outside of our space that we share with our three neighbors in our private walkway. $1 per load.
The space gets a lot of light and it is in a great location. We have a long east facing balcony downstairs off the living room and it’s really peaceful. You can walk to the ocean in under 15-minutes or my favorite coffee shop Pure Bean in just 10-minutes. The area is mostly residential but we are close to Sepulveda where there are some restaurants and shops. We are also close to Target, Trader Joes, the post office, and a few minutes' drive to Whole Foods or Lazy Acres.
A security deposit of 1-month's worth of rent is due to move in along with a formal application to our landlord. She will require a background check with application which is $25. She requires verifiable income. The lease is for one year.
We split the monthly cost of gas, internet and Electric, and house cleaning once a month - three ways. Monthly utilities average $100 - $160/month.
