"Fire Room"!

Hello! I’m Chane and I’m looking for a roommate! This is for a house in Hawthorne near Space X. It’s also pretty close to Crenshaw Station if you’re a public transit user. S Van Ness and Imperial. I feel it's just better to type out as much as I can right off the bat so I don't have to keep answering the basics, so sorry if it's overwhelming.

Rent for you is $850, utilities included, security deposit is $500. The room is furnished with a queen bed, dresser, nightstand, desk, and a closet. There is a shared/guest bathroom with a bathtub/shower that you would be sharing with the new male roommate.

You would have parking! There’s a driveway behind a manual gate in the backyard that can fit two cars vertically (unless one car is oddly long). You would just have to work out which car goes in first with our other roommate. There’s also street parking if you don’t want to deal with that.

There’s a kitchen, washer, dryer, refrigerator– we’ll designate sections for everyone.
I’m looking for someone who is respectful towards the home. You don’t have to be someone who keeps their spaces absolutely spotless, but just don’t do stuff like leave food in your room for a whole week. And don’t leave dishes with food in/on them in the sink for days. Also, while utilities are included, I’d prefer if folks aren’t running up the bills without consideration please. 😭 So I'd prefer someone who’s not leaving lights on after they leave the house, always running a heater/air tower even when at work, “has to have a TV on even if I’m not watching it to yadda yadda”– stuff like that.;;

I prefer females (yes, MtF included of course), Nonbinary, or FtM for now. Would prefer ages 23 to 55, but feel free to contact anyway! Along with a background check, I'd prefer to meet in person at least once so we both know what to expect.

Sorry but no pets! I have a turtle and I don’t want her stressed out by other pets. But also, the floors won't do dogs or cats too well.

Also, no smoking. This is a place with no A/C since the temperature is usually fine, but windows are often open if it's hot, so smoke would come inside. I work with my voice and I can't be around smoke like that. That goes for tobacco, cannabis, vaping, etc. This is a friendly home, but not a 420 friendly home! :^0

I genuinely want whoever stays to feel comfortable here. This is my first time having roommates (not my first time renting to others though) besides with a coworker once, so other than what I've mentioned and some things that most would assume aren't allowed, I'm going to do my best to be open to this new experience. So don't be afraid to bring up any concerns or suggest ways to make things better even after you've been living here for a while! Also, I don't expect an absolutely perfect person. ouo)b
