I’m renting out a room in my lovely Echo Park apartment looking for July 01 , but flexible, - the right fit matters most. I’m looking for a kind, easygoing person who values peace and quiet.

I work as a freelance photojournalist, so my days can be hectic, and I like my home to be a calm, relaxing space. I also share the apartment with my 2-year-old Westie — a 15-pound, hypoallergenic pup who’s incredibly sweet and well-behaved.

The two-bedroom duplex has beautiful natural light, high ceilings, hardwood floors, and easy street parking right out front (never an issue finding a spot). It’s tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac just 2.2 miles from Downtown LA. The building is a charming 1920s duplex in one of Echo Park’s most diverse and welcoming neighborhoods — the neighbors are friendly, and we all look out for each other.

The unit includes in-unit laundry, The room for rent has a walk-in closet and a queen sized bed.

. We’re within walking distance to Echo Park Lake, Lassen’s, and plenty of great restaurants and bars along Sunset Blvd and Echo Park Ave.
• Rent: $1,550/month (includes water; other utilities separate)
• Deposit: First and last month’s rent (used as security deposit)
• Minimum 6-month stay
• Application: Required by the management company
• No couples or pets, please

I’ve lived here for 18 years — it’s truly home — and I’m looking for someone who wants a stable, comfortable living environment, not just a temporary spot.
