Hello apartment seekers!

My name is Joe, I’m a senior PhD student and I’m looking for someone (or two) to split my three-bedroom house in Pasadena. I’m pretty busy and work a lot, but also pretty laid back. I get out and about sometimes but it’s usually pajama-rama in here. Pretty great place for the occasional shin dig but very cozy and quiet most of the time.

Currently, I live in the master bedroom with an attached bathroom and there are two other bedrooms to chose from, one is a little smaller than the other, but it comes with a private(ish) entrance, and extra storage space (brand new metal wardrobe). Those two rooms share a bathroom.

I’d consider renting out each to separate renters or splitting the whole place with one person, giving us an extra room to use for office/romper room, gym/guest room/extra tv room - whatever we want! Rent would be significantly higher, obviously.

** Recently bought some new furniture but i’ve still got to put them together. New pics to come as they are assembled.

** Currently repainting the smaller bedroom, laundry room, bathroom, and the kitchen

Large Room – $1550
* Spacious well laid out room
* Large closet with mirrored doors

Small Room – $1350
* Cozy room with three big windows
* Additional closet (wardrobe/armoire) located just outside the room

Large room and small room share a bathroom

Master Room – i’d consider moving from this one. we can talk about it (I’m pretty entrenched after five years here)
* Ensuite bathroom
* Humungous closet

Apartment features:
* Lots of natural light
* Very sweet and large tree in yard - Japanese Elm, if i’m not mistaken
* Large, fully equipped kitchen (including two full-sized refrigerators)
* Huge living room
* Plenty of storage space
* Washer/dryer, and dishwasher in the unit
* Huge front yard with white picket fence (did I mention the big tree?)
* Front porch
* Free and ample street parking, driveway parking may be available too for electric vehicle (EV) charging
* Utilities included - including household consumables like soap/garbage bags/etc.

Pets may be considered on a case by case basis. I love them all! Just not the mess.

Looking for people who are respectful and can be trusted to work off the honor system for things like cleaning and shared-space usage, etc..
