I'm renting a private bedroom in my 3-bedroom apartment, only looking for one roommate, I'm the only person living here. The apartment house is located in a quiet and safe cul-de-sac in Downey, CA. I use one of the rooms as my home office. You will have your own private bedroom and your own private bathroom across the hallway that no one else uses. My previous roommate moved extra people in without communicating, including a child, which is why you may see kid items in the photos, I have no children. They're moving out in two weeks. I'm on the lease, so you will need to be added for a one-year term. There is no credit check. The property management only needs to see that you can afford the rent through paycheck stubs or a bank statement. Internet/WIFI is $50 ($100 total, I pay the other $50), utilities should only be $50 (I will pay the additional $100 for it) if the additional is an issue, let me know we can work this out.

The private room has hardwood floors, a walk-in closet plus an additional closet. You will have access to either garage parking or an outdoor parking spot. There is backyard access, laundry hookups, and laundry machines located directly across from the house. You can use the living room, which I rarely use, and the kitchen. There is no oven or microwave, or fridge. I keep my own mini fridge and freezer, and coffee maker in my room. The neighborhood is very walkable, with Stonewood Mall walking distance, parks, and many restaurants nearby. Downey is clean, diverse, and a great foodie town.

I prefer no pets, but I am open to a friendly dog that's not a constant barker or a housebroken cat, as long as they do not enter my bedroom. Smoking or 420 is fine as long as it's done outside in the backyard or in the garage.

About me: I'm a female professional filmmaker and acting instructor. I work from home, at an office, or on set depending on the day. I'm quiet, chill, peaceful, friendly, warm, grounded, and trustworthy. I'm not a neat freak, so I won't stress if you leave a dish out. I don't bring guests over without communicating first, and I ask for the same courtesy, a simple text. I'm dating someone, but I go to his place. I get along with all ages and genders since I work on film sets with all types of people. Communication is important to me. I also have a small bird named Blu who stays in my room only. He's quiet and sleeps from 9 pm to 9 am and throughout the day.
