Located in beautiful Boyle Heights just a short 5 minute drive from the very popular Arts District of LA, this room is a true oasis.
Room is fully furnished with closet, a private bathroom with walk in shower, and a gorgeous sun room attached for use as an office space - the perfect set up for one who works from home. Apartment is the entire second floor of a house and has 2 human roommates, 1 small canine and 1 small feline. Sorry but the space cannot accommodate more pets.
You may not see the cat, Edith, at all as she likes to stay in her space with her owner/roommate, Leah. Spotso the dog is a very sweet and quiet little guy who’s very shy but very affectionate, and will be looked after by roommate, Leah. While the house is kept fastidiously clean, one who suffers from pet allergies may not be a good fit for the space. Although we have a sneaky suspicion that Edith may be hypoallergenic.
Shared space includes a cozy living/dining room, WONDERFUL kitchen, laundry room, back porch, and front lawn area. The only thing the kitchen lacks is a dish washer but if you’re a cook, the kitchen is well equipped with anything/everything you’d ever need. If you’re a musician, the piano is kept (relatively) in tune but the guitars seen in the photos will be stored for the summer.
Human roommates Ele and Leah are wonderful - both in the entertainment industry, both clean, respectful humans and both apart of the LGBTQ+ community - as is the vacating tenant. Leah is often working out of the house and often on set, while Ele usually works from home. While the space is not a party house by any means, the roommates do like to entertain on occasion but with plenty of respectful, advanced warning. The front yard space is perfect for spring cookouts/hangouts which the subletting tenant is welcome to join in at any level they would like.
