This is a short-term / temporary bedroom sublet available for 1 week in an owner occupied non-smoking home in Baldwin Park, 91706 while the regular housemate is away.

Available Thursday August 25th until Thursday September 1st.

If you don't provide me with this basic information then I will not respond.

THE ROOM:
It's a sunny, furnished 150 sq ft (14 sq meter) bedroom with a full size bed, dresser, night stand, and ceiling fan (no closet).

RENT:
$250/week for 1 person. ($300/week for 2 people) includes utilities, wifi, washer/dryer and common area usage. Pillows, bedding and towels will be provided as well. Small deposit based on length of stay.

THE HOUSE:
Has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and den/family room that is shared by all, as well as the patio and yard which have a BBQ and fire pit. Car parking is readily available on the street and can sometimes be accommodated in the yard. Bicycle parking also available!

THE HOUSEMATES:
We are an international and LGBTQIA+ friendly bunch brought together by the couchsurfing. com community, so we are big on trust, karma, inclusion, cultural exchange, intentional-style living and household activities (i. e. dinners, BBQ's, movie/TV/game nights & hosting travelers). There are currently 3 housemates (a cancer researcher, a private teacher/nanny, and me -- the homeowner) and 2 adorable and well trained small dogs in the household.

LOCATION:
Walking distance (5-15 minutes) to 4 grocery stores, the park, the post office, many eateries and public transit. Driving / biking distance (5-15 minutes) to Target, Walmart and The Plaza at West Covina and the 605, 10 and 210 freeways. About a 20 minute drive from DTLA; a 35 minute drive to Disneyland or Hollywood; and a 45 minute drive to Santa Monica, Venice Beach or Huntington Beach (times approximate without traffic).

PUBLIC TRANSIT:
The Metrolink train stops in Baldwin Park (91706), is a 15 minute walk from the house, and can get you to Union Station/DTLA in 3 stops. And there are several buses within a few blocks of the house.

IMPORTANT:
* MUST be Covid vaccinated!
* NO pets!
* NO smoking = Non-smokers only! (This includes: cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes and vapes).
* This is short-term sublet only.
