The space

Welcome to your private room nestled in the hills of Oroville. This clean and spacious private bedroom features a California king bed, walk-in closet, and a private bathroom with a soaker tub and shower. The room is equipped with a 55-inch TV, upgraded unlimited WiFi, work desk, sit-any-way office chair, comfortable seating area, and storage ottoman.

This home features a walk-out design, with the main living area on the upper level (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs), offering treetop views and level entry from the road. The lower level, set into the hillside, includes the garage and in-law suite.

Guests enjoy access to shared spaces, including the kitchen, coffee & tea station, and a peaceful patio with treetop views. The homeowner resides very part-time in the in-laws room downstairs and shares access to the common areas. There is no garage access, but guests are welcome to enjoy the 1/2 acre hillside grounds with seasonal creek.

Shoes must be removed upon entry to protect the new carpet. With a top of the line carpet pad, many have not had this cloud-like carpet experience.

Assigned off-street is available. No parking directly in front of the house, mailboxes, and please keep the driveway clear as it is shared.

Laundry access is available.

This listing is best suited for mid- to long-term stays. Queen bedroom on the same level is currently occupied by a single remote worker.

Guest access

Guests have access to their private bedroom, private bathroom, and walk-in closet. They may also use shared spaces including the kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry, coffee & tea station, grounds, and the outdoor patio with treetop views.

Access to the downstairs in-laws room and garage are not permitted. The driveway is shared, and guests have access to off-street parking. Guests may also enjoy the surrounding half acre of grounds during their stay.

This is a shared home. Other long-term guests may occupy separate rooms. We use physical keys that need to be returned at the end of your stay.

During your stay

The homeowner resides downstairs very part-time. You may also encounter his family during your stay. All household members respect your privacy and shared space boundaries.

The queen bedroom is occupied by a very respectful and very clean single remote worker also from AirBNB.

The downstairs is private and not part of the guest area — please use the airbnb message service if you need to reach someone.
Other things to note
30-night minimum stay required.

Shoes must be removed indoors to protect the brand-new carpet — a bench and tiled entryway are provided.

Assigned parking is available. Please do not block the mailbox or park in the loading zone directly in front of the house.

Trash bins are near the travel trailer and should be taken out Sundays and brought in Mondays.

No garage access.

The washer/dryer is available for use.

The home is kept VERY clean. Guests are expected to clean after themselves. Housekeeping is not provided during the stay. Each person keeps their areas clean.

This is a peaceful, executive-style home in a quiet neighborhood — ideal for traveling professionals, lineman students, and remote workers.
