Back bedroom with huge closet and built-in shelves available in a beautiful 2800 sq ft Victorian House in the Gold Coast of Alameda. Wood floors, high ceilings, big windows. The room is furnished with a bed with a super comfy memory foam topper, dresser and side table. Happy to find you a desk if you need one too! Bedroom in the back, quiet and cozy. There is not a private bathroom, but you will have exclusive use of the shower in the upstairs bathroom.

The house is 2 stories, 4 bedrooms with a formal living room, dining room, den, a huge backyard with a hot tub! Washer/Dryer and dishwasher. The house is set up with Sonos and we have Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Hulu and AppleTV on the main living room TV. The neighborhood is quiet, 10 minute walk to the beach, a few restaurants and bars within walking distance, lots of parks, the marina and bike paths. The ferry is a 6 minute drive from the house, and only 20 minutes to downtown SF. The bus to SF or Oakland is only 1 block away. Street parking only, but it’s incredibly easy and there are always a few spots right in front of the house.

About Us: I am a mom of two 4.5 year old twin girls who live with me half the time. We love our big house but also love sharing our space and having fresh ideas and energy in the house. We’re a pretty early house, but also really easy going and love having friends over. The house is dynamic and always changing but we try to keep it as neat and tidy as possible. I mostly work from home in my office.

You: You are ok with the chaos of having kids around, and can handle some messiness in the kitchen and throughout the house. You don't expect a super quiet house, are ok with me talking in meetings throughout the day, and the kids around half the afternoons making noise.

Rent of $1000 includes use of washer/dryer and hot tub, and 2x/month cleaning service
+ Utilities: electric, gas, water, garbage, internet. We could say a flat $250 a month or I could assess 1/3 of the utilities monthly to you.

We do have a 15 year old cat! If you have a small pet that could be ok around a cat, we can discuss.
