Big room in 2 bdrm in Oakland Dimond District

I am looking for a housemate in 2 bedroom unit in a duplex in Oakland between Fruitvale and the Dimond District for June 1st. If you are looking for a temporary spot over the summer let me know what dates you want. I'm open to short-term or long-term. Internet is included. We'll split pg&e and water.

It's a large room with a south-facing window that looks out on a flowering Camelia with beautiful pink blossoms. We have a west-facing front porch that's perfect for watching the sunset. Out front there is a Jacaranda tree that has bright purple blossoms in June. We also have a brugmansia (angel's trumpet) by the front door that perfumes the air as you walk up to the house as well as other native plants, aromatic flowers, and fruit trees.

The dining area looks out onto the garden and has views of the sunset. There's a living room area with leather couches, a TV with roku, and a fireplace. Across the street there's a park with a playground. We're walking distance to Fruitvale, the dimond, and the laurel district. We're close to the Peralta Hacienda, William Wood park, and Dimond park which all have gorgeous nature and we're a 10 minute drive to trailheads in Joaquin Miller and Redwood Regional.

I appreciate a serene space that is free of clutter. I'd like to live with someone who spends some of their time outside of the house. I'd like to live with someone who does not consider calling the police as an option for dealing with conflicts or things happening in the neighborhood. I'd like to live with someone who is reflective and open to feedback. I'd like to live with someone who has ways of finding joy and contentment in life. And I'd like to live with someone who is financially secure.

My partner and our 12 year old blue heeler visit about 2 weekends a month. I also spend one or two weekends a month out of town, so sometimes you'd have the place to yourself. My friend and her Chiweenie live next-door in the back unit of the duplex.
